I'm working on the department responsable for maintaining the IT equipment of our company. We had (for a long time) a program that showed us the birthdays in the upcoming days. With migrating to NT, the program was lost (it did not run), so we needed a replacement. I'm a good delphi programmer, so programing something like this in delphi was easy for me, but... how to get it working on every machine in the company without installing the BDE everywhere! Looking and looking on the internet resolved in finding Easytable. A great, superb component to use this way! Now, at logon, everybody sees again who's birthday is coming up.
